Healthcare Business Development Representative (BDR)

Allergychoices | In-person @ Onalaska, WI | Full-Time

About Allergychoices

Allergychoices is a leader in patient-centered allergy care, offering evidence-based sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) that addresses the root cause of allergic disease — not just the symptoms. Through our proprietary protocols and 503A compounding pharmacy, we equip providers across allergy, ENT, primary care, and pediatrics to deliver long-term relief, expand their service lines, and grow revenue without adding clinical burden.

The Role

We're hiring a Provider Sales Consultant to grow Allergychoices' prescriber base and own a portfolio of high-value clinic relationships. This is a hunter-leaning role: roughly 70% net-new provider acquisition, 30% account management and expansion within existing practices. You'll be the face of Allergychoices in the field — converting providers from traditional pharmaceutical-only approaches to immunotherapy-based care.

You'll report to the Head of Sales and work closely with our clinical, pharmacy operations, and customer success teams. The role is hybrid out of our Onalaska, WI headquarters with regular travel across your assigned territory.

What You'll Do

New provider acquisition (primary focus)

Identify, qualify, and close new prescribing relationships with allergy, ENT, primary care, pediatric, and integrative medicine practices
Run consultative sales conversations that translate clinical evidence and economics into a clear yes from the provider and practice owner
Build and manage your own pipeline: from outbound outreach through in-office demos, protocol training, and first prescription

Account management & growth

Own a portfolio of active prescribing practices; drive prescription volume per account through training, troubleshooting, and clinical reinforcement
Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts (additional providers, new indications, increased patient capture)
Serve as the relationship anchor between the practice and Allergychoices — clinical, pharmacy, and operations

Cross-functional & operational

Partner with clinical and customer success teams to onboard new accounts cleanly and accelerate time-to-first-prescription
Maintain accurate pipeline, account, and activity data in CRM — we run the business off this data
Bring market intelligence back to the team: competitive moves, payor dynamics, provider objections, product feedback

What We're Looking For

Required

3+ years of B2B healthcare sales experience selling into physician practices — pharma, medical device, diagnostics, or specialty services
Documented track record of hitting quota and closing net-new accounts (bring numbers to the interview)
Strong working knowledge of the allergy treatment landscape: SLIT, SCIT, biologics, antihistamines, and how providers and patients actually choose between them
Comfort selling to both clinical (physician, NP, PA) and business (practice owner, office manager) stakeholders in the same conversation
Self-directed pipeline
Bachelor's degree
Willingness to travel ~40-50% within territory; based within commuting distance of Onalaska, WI HQ

Preferred

Direct experience selling SLIT or SCIT immunotherapy
Existing book of relationships with allergists, ENTs, or primary care groups
Experience selling into independent / private-practice settings (vs. health system only)
Familiarity with compounding pharmacy workflows or specialty pharmacy distribution
