Full Job Description

Description

TEKsystems is seeking a Data Center Technician to support ongoing operations within a HPC environment while an engineer is away on paternity leave. This is a 6 month contract in Shelton, CT. HPC experience is not required but is a plus.

Responsibilities:

On-site technical support for the HPC environment (SGI 8600 compute systems and supporting infrastructure)
Hardware repair, maintenance, replacement, and troubleshooting
Administration and operational support for HPCM cluster management (nice to have)
Support for the DMF storage environment, including coordinating upgrades and system health monitoring, working with DMF team.
CDU cooling system maintenance and troubleshooting
Hardware diagnostics and coordination with the site admin to maintain system stability
Supporting the site administrator as needed

This is a Contract position based out of Shelton, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
