Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing food and beverage operations, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in casual dining, fine dining, or banquet settings is required. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage operations across all outlets, including casual dining, fine dining, catering, and bar services.
Lead staff training and development initiatives to ensure high standards of food safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
Utilize POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all departments.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist with shift management, scheduling staff shifts to meet business needs while controlling labor costs.
Monitor restaurant performance metrics; implement improvements to optimize service delivery.
Support budgeting efforts and manage costs related to food & beverage operations.
Participate in interviewing and hiring new team members; oversee onboarding processes.
Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the establishment’s hospitality standards at all times.

Requirements

Proven supervisory experience in restaurant management or food service management roles within casual dining, fine dining, or banquet environments.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling proficiency required.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically.
Leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and development.
Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry.
Ability to manage inventory control effectively; previous experience with budgeting is a plus.
Hospitality or culinary background preferred; hotel or restaurant experience highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills; capable of interviewing candidates and providing constructive feedback.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed; experience managing shift schedules is advantageous.
