Central Billing Coordinator

Worcester, MA | Senior Care Finance Team
$37–$39 per hour | Full Time | Non-Exempt

The Central Billing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting our five Skilled Nursing Facilities, ensuring claims are processed accurately, payments are tracked, and facilities receive the financial support needed to continue delivering exceptional care.

If you are detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in Skilled Nursing billing, this is an opportunity to join a mission-driven team where your work directly supports the care of others.

Accurate billing ensures that our facilities can continue delivering high-quality care to residents and families. In this role, you will help ensure Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care claims are submitted accurately and efficiently, while collaborating with facility leaders and finance partners across multiple locations.

Your work directly supports operational stability and resident care.

What You'll Do

As the Central Billing Coordinator, you will:

Process billing for five Skilled Nursing Facilities
Verify census and billing information within PCC
Submit electronic claims for Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care
Ensure authorizations and billing documentation are accurate
Enter ancillary services and verify billing entries
Manage collection follow-up and cash posting
Prepare monthly billing cycles
Collaborate with facility administrators and business office liaisons
Participate in billing and collections meetings

What We're Looking For

Required

3–5 years of Skilled Nursing Facility billing and collections experience
Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care billing
Basic accounting knowledge
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred

Associate degree or post-secondary coursework
Experience working in healthcare or human services environments
