Staff Accountant

What to expect in this role on a given day:

This person will work within a growing team to contribute to a wide variety of projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. Some of your responsibilities will include:

Determine appropriate accounting treatment and recording business transactions for leases and payoffs
Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income/expense accounts
Prepare journal entries
Recording business transactions for warehouses while providing accounting treatments
Prepare workpapers in support of other projects

You will be a good fit for this position if you have:

Have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience)
Have a general understanding of GAAP
Possess strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills along with being organized and having the ability to multi-task
Are experienced in Excel and other spreadsheet applications
Consider yourself to be detail oriented
