Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant/LPN, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical skills, medical knowledge, and administrative expertise to support patient health and streamline clinic operations. Whether working in dermatology clinics, urgent care centers, or hospital environments, you will be at the forefront of providing compassionate, efficient, and high-quality care. Responsibilities

Perform patient intake procedures including collecting medical histories, vital signs, and documenting symptoms accurately in electronic health records (EMR system).
Assist with clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, wound care, and basic life support (BLS) protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Assist providers during patient visits as needed.
Administer injections, medications, and perform treatments withing the practice.
Perform EKGs, lab collections, and other clinical procedures as assigned.
Maintain exam rooms by stocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness.
Support physicians and healthcare providers by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing medical supplies inventory.
Conduct diagnostic procedures including X-ray imaging and basic physiology assessments; assist with procedures.
Manage medical documentation with precision—update patient records, ensure compliance with ICD coding standards, and maintain accurate medical records for outpatient and inpatient cases.
Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring a positive experience during every visit.
Support medical office management tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and coordinating referrals or follow-up care.
Maintain a safe clinical environment by adhering to infection control protocols and hospital or clinic policies; assist with EMR/EHR management to streamline workflow.

Experience

Prior experience in medical office settings with a strong background in medical assisting or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient record management. ( not necessary)
Knowledge of pharmacology principles for medication administration and understanding of anatomy and physiology to support accurate patient assessments.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical environment.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
