Job Title: Event Server (Independent Contractor)

Pay: $18–$20/hour
Location: Grand Rapids & West Michigan (On the Road)
Job Type: Part-time | Temporary | Contract

Culinary Cultivations — Grand Rapids’ premier service industry staffing team — is hiring experienced Servers to join our Event Staffing Team for the upcoming season!

We provide professional food service staff for a wide range of events across West Michigan, including weddings, corporate events, private parties, and special events. As an independent contractor, you’ll have the flexibility to choose shifts that fit your schedule.

Note: Many events take place on Saturdays, with both AM and PM shifts available. Some Saturday availability is required.

What You’ll Do

Provide high-quality service at catered events and special functions
Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor
Work efficiently in fast-paced environments
Communicate clearly with team leads, clients, and fellow staff
Represent Culinary Cultivations with excellent hospitality

What We’re Looking For

1+ year of serving experience
Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in event-based, fast-paced environments
A positive, guest-focused mindset

Preferred Experience

Event or catering experience
Food & beverage industry experience (1+ year)

Preferred Certifications (Not Required)

Alcohol Safety Certification (ServSafe, TIPS, or TAMS)

Schedule & Pay

Flexible scheduling — choose shifts based on your availability
Day and night shifts available
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Pay frequency: Bi-weekly
