Full Job Description

About the Role:

The Expeditor plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our accommodation and food services by ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and accurately. This position is responsible for coordinating between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food is delivered promptly and meets quality standards. The Expeditor will also manage inventory levels, track supplies, and communicate with staff to address any issues that may arise during service. By maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail, the Expeditor contributes to an exceptional guest experience. Ultimately, this role is vital in enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within our establishment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
Certification in food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
Monitor food presentation and quality before it leaves the kitchen to ensure it meets our standards.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to address any order discrepancies or special requests.
Assist in training new staff on proper expediting procedures and best practices.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include strong communication and organizational abilities, which are essential for coordinating between the kitchen and dining staff. Attention to detail is critical, as the Expeditor must ensure that every dish meets quality standards before it is served. Time management skills are also important, as the role involves prioritizing tasks to ensure timely service during busy periods. Preferred skills, such as leadership experience, will enhance the Expeditor's ability to train and guide new staff effectively. Overall, these skills contribute to a seamless dining experience for guests and a well-functioning team environment.

It all started in Casper, Wyoming in 2006 when a couple of Casper businessmen wanted a restaurant in their newly developed McMurry Business Park. They longed for a moderately priced, high quality steakhouse with a great bar and an extensive wine selection. They wanted a place where everyone would feel welcome. That endeavor resulted in the FireRock Steakhouse. The FireRock Steakhouse is known for serving only USDA Angus Beef for all our steaks. We age our beef a minimum of 28 days and hand cut each and every steak. Our steaks are cooked to perfection over an authentic wood fired grill burning oak wood. In addition to our great steaks our menu features a broad range of appetizers, entree salads, pastas, seafood dishes and a variety of sandwiches and burgers. We are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week.

Pay: Up to $18.00 / hour
