Position Overview
INTU Med Spa is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Injector to join our growing aesthetics, wellness, and longevity practice in Lisle, Illinois.
This is not an entry-level injector position. We are looking for a nurse with a minimum of two years of hands-on aesthetic injecting experience who is confident performing neurotoxin and dermal filler treatments and understands comprehensive facial assessment and natural facial balancing.
The ideal candidate is interested in more than aesthetics alone. INTU is continuing to expand its medical weight management, peptide therapy, hormone optimization, IV therapy, and longevity services. We are looking for a nurse who wants to participate in both sides of the practice and grow with us long term.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on aesthetic injecting experience
- Demonstrated experience with neurotoxins and dermal fillers
- Strong understanding of facial anatomy and injection safety
- Ability to perform comprehensive aesthetic consultations and facial assessments
- Experience recognizing and managing potential complications associated with injectable treatments
- Current BLS certification
- Professional liability/malpractice insurance or ability to obtain appropriate coverage
- Strong clinical documentation and patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the medical director, Nurse Practitioner, and clinical team
Aesthetic Experience
The ideal candidate should be experienced and comfortable with:
- Neurotoxin treatments
- Dermal fillers
- Full-face assessment and facial balancing
- Treatment planning rather than treating isolated areas
- Patient consultation and education
- Developing long-term aesthetic treatment plans
- Identifying appropriate and inappropriate candidates for treatment
- Recognizing and responding appropriately to complications
Experience with biostimulators, regenerative aesthetics, PRP/PRF, microneedling, RF microneedling, lasers, or other advanced aesthetic procedures is a plus.
Wellness & Longevity Responsibilities
This position will also participate in INTU's wellness and longevity programs under appropriate provider oversight and established clinical protocols.
Experience or a strong working knowledge of the following is preferred:
- Medical weight management
- GLP-1 based weight management programs
- Peptide therapy
- Hormone replacement therapy
- Testosterone replacement therapy
- IV nutrient therapy
- Vitamin and wellness injections
- Metabolic health
- Regenerative medicine
- Sexual wellness
- Longevity and preventative health
Responsibilities may include patient education, injections, medication administration, specimen collection, follow-up communication, monitoring patients, reviewing treatment adherence, and assisting the prescribing provider with ongoing patient management within the RN scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform aesthetic consultations and injectable treatments
- Develop individualized aesthetic treatment recommendations
- Administer neurotoxins and dermal fillers safely and appropriately
- Provide pre-treatment and post-treatment education
- Document consultations and treatments accurately in the electronic medical record
- Maintain appropriate before-and-after photography
- Participate in medical weight management and wellness programs within RN scope
- Administer prescribed injectable medications, peptides, vitamins, and IV therapies
- Assist with hormone and longevity patients under the direction of the prescribing provider
- Follow established clinical protocols and standing orders
- Maintain appropriate infection-control and patient-safety standards
- Participate in ongoing training and clinical education
- Collaborate with INTU's medical director, Nurse Practitioner, and other members of the clinical team
- Help develop long-term relationships with patients through education, follow-up, and individualized treatment planning
The INTU Approach
INTU is not a high-volume injection clinic. Our focus is on thoughtful treatment planning, natural outcomes, facial balance, skin quality, and long-term aging strategies.
We are looking for an injector who understands that the best treatment is not always more filler or more tox. The ability to evaluate the face as a whole, educate patients appropriately, and recommend treatments based on what will actually improve the patient's outcome is important to this position.
The same philosophy applies to our wellness practice. Our goal is to build ongoing relationships with patients rather than provide isolated treatments.

Schedule and Growth Opportunity
This position will initially be part-time based on current patient volume. We anticipate increasing the injector's schedule as their patient base and INTU's overall volume continue to grow.
The position is appropriate for an experienced injector who wants to establish a consistent schedule within a growing boutique practice and become an important part of its long-term clinical team.
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, services performed, and level of involvement. Compensation structure and anticipated clinical hours will be discussed during the interview process.
