FlexTrades is hiring an experienced Screw Machinist to set up and operate multi-spindle automatic screw machines and hybrid equipment. This role involves full machine setups, running multiple machines, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Perform complete setups (not changeovers) on multi-spindle screw machines
- Install tooling, change collets, load bar stock, and align machines
- Run first parts and complete FAI and in-process inspections (SPC)
- Operate up to 3 machines at once depending on cycle time
- Use tooling including drilling, tapping, threading, grooving, and milling tools
- Read blueprints and follow digital work instructions and control plans
- Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, bore mics, and gauges
- Hold tolerances from .0002” to .010” and meet surface finish requirements
- Perform basic machine maintenance (cleaning, fluids, greasing, filters)
Qualifications
- Experience with multi-spindle screw machines
- Ability to perform full machine setups independently
- Strong blueprint reading skills with GD&T knowledge
- Experience working with steel, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel materials
- Experience working with tight tolerances and precision parts
- Ability to run and monitor multiple machines simultaneously
- Familiarity with inspection tools and SPC processes
- Ability to perform basic tool adjustments or sharpening preferred
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $38/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half

- Per diem ($45/day)
