HomeCare Professionals, Inc. is growing and we are in need of a Staffing Manager to join our amazing team to help scale our staffing operations in the Yuba City area.
Job Summary: The Staffing Manager works directly with our intake, sales and recruiting departments to ensure staffing continuity for HCP’s clients. Specifically, this position is responsible for managing the scheduling and staffing operations and the care giving personnel. This is a full time position, Monday - Friday.
As part of this position, you will:
- Work closely with the team to create projections and staffing plans for short term and long term staffing needs.
- Coordinate with the Recruiting Department and help with recruiting when applicable.
- Interview, evaluate and make hiring decisions on candidates interviewing for caregiver positions and oversee on-boarding of those candidates.
- Create and maintain processes to:
- assign staff to clients that ensure placements meet client’s and staff’s preference, schedule and clinical needs/skills.
- schedule all direct line employees to meet client’s scheduling needs to include initial schedules, changes, and cancellations.
- fill last minute cancellations.
- monitor employee satisfaction and turnover to ensure that department is meeting retention goals.
Position Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in staffing
- A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to have organized, designed and implemented multiple, complex technical projects
- Must read, write and speak fluent English.
- May require travel to client homes and other business related destinations (i.e. conferences, job fairs)
