Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency with office software and equipment. The Office Clerk will assist with recordkeeping, data entry, customer service, scheduling, and other administrative tasks that contribute to a productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
Organize, scan, retrieve, and manage office documents and records.
Answer and direct telephone calls, respond to emails, and distribute correspondence.
Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain office calendars.
Greet visitors and provide professional customer service.
Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
Operate office equipment, including printers, scanners, photocopiers, and fax machines.
Assist with basic bookkeeping, billing, payroll, and petty cash reconciliation when required.
Prepare reports, forms, and other business documents.
Support office staff with general administrative duties.
Maintain confidentiality of company information and records.
Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned..

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous clerical, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.

Preferred

Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience with office management software or database systems.
Basic bookkeeping or accounting knowledge.

Work Environment

Full-time position.
Standard office environment.
Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional overtime as needed.
Regular use of computers, office equipment, and telephone systems.
