ABOUT US

Transtex Composite is a leading manufacturer of advanced, thermoplastic composite solutions for a broad range of applications in new and diverse markets. Our expanding range of glass-reinforced polypropylene composite materials has set the industry standard for toughness and durability in applications throughout industry worldwide.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a proven Quality Control Manager to oversee the quality for our Composites Manufacturing site. To be successful as a Quality control Manager, you should be thorough and always available to assist when needed. Provide the leadership that sets the tone of how things should be done.

You will report to our Senior Quality Director & Continuous improvement, and your responsibilities will include:

Manage all the manufacturing plant quality control activities.
Ensure the appropriate execution of all products quality inspections (Incoming, In-process, Final) per inspection plan.
Supervise 4 Quality Inspectors, provide guidance and feedback.
Monitor manufacturing and quality procedures execution to identify deviations from Quality standards.
Determine nonconformities and hold nonconform shipments.
Contact Suppliers to share products nonconformities or potential improvements. Follow-up on their corrective actions.
Ensure the follow-up of all procedures per Quality system.
Cooperate with production, engineering, and QA departments to inquire and solve any quality related issue. In addition, participate in the implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvements.
Ensure that all new and existent employes are well trained on Quality requirements accordingly per their work position.
Create and update Quality control documents as forms, procedures, and supplier quality requirements.
Audit the quality system of main Suppliers on site. Audit could be at qualification stage, periodically or as needed.
Cooperate with Senior Quality director to identify improvement opportunities and reduce non-quality costs.

ABOUT YOU

You are passionate about professional challenges and take pride in a job well done. You are meticulous and detail-oriented, and you have a proven experience as Quality Control Manager.

You also have the following assets:

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a quality control Manager.
Meticulous and responsible
Great communication and leadership skills
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Customer driven and accountable.
Proficient with MS Office
Very familiar with Quality control procedures and root cause analysis.
Experience with ISO 9001-2015 is an advantage.
