Our Rochester location is hiring a General Manager who is passionate about developing people, building a strong team, growing sales, and creating an outstanding guest experience. The right person will take ownership of the restaurant, coach employees daily, maintain high operating standards, and build future leaders from within.

Responsibilities
- Lead all daily restaurant operations and oversee the entire Rochester team
- Hire, onboard, train, and retain high-quality team members
- Coach and develop employees into Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers
- Create a positive, energetic, and accountable workplace culture
- Build weekly schedules based on sales, staffing needs, and labor goals
- Manage food, labor, inventory, and other controllable costs
- Drive weekly sales through strong operations, guest service, catering, and community involvement
- Lead fast, accurate, and organized shifts during peak service periods
- Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and customer service
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and create positive guest experiences
- Manage ordering, inventory, food preparation, and product availability
- Ensure all employees follow company procedures and food safety standards
- Communicate consistently with the Area Manager regarding sales, staffing, performance, and store needs
- Open and close the restaurant as needed
- Safely operate restaurant equipment, including a commercial deli slicer
- Lift up to 45 pounds and remain active throughout scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Previous General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or restaurant management experience required
- Experience leading, coaching, and holding a team accountable
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, scheduling, and food costs
- Experience hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training employees
- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on restaurant environment
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends
- Positive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
- Valid driver’s license preferred
