ASSITANT PROJECT MANAGER

This is an excellent opportunity to establish employment with a company well known and who offers excellent benefits and stability to their employees.

Assistant Project Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Assistant Project Manager will support the successful execution of construction projects through project documentation, coordination, reporting, and administrative management. This position plays a key role in maintaining project records, tracking schedules, facilitating communication among project stakeholders, and ensuring that project documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date.

RESPONSABILITIES:

Assist the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and administration of construction projects from inception through completion.
Maintain and organize all project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, permits, and correspondence.
Prepare, update, and distribute project reports for company management and project stakeholders.
Monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, ensuring timely updates and tracking of milestones.
Coordinate with owners, owner representatives, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to facilitate project communication and document control.
Support the tracking of project progress, budgets, and procurement activities.
Ensure that all project records are maintained accurately and in compliance with company standards and contractual requirements.
Assist in the preparation of project meetings, progress reports, and closeout documentation.
Collaborate with Project Engineers and Superintendents to gather and consolidate project information, supporting schedule, quality, and safety objectives.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or mechanical engineering
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Strong organizational and document management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Self-starter with a proactive and dynamic attitude.
Detail-oriented and results-driven.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Previous experience in construction projects is preferred.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Salary: from $4,800 to $5,300

Benefits: car allowance, sick leave, vacation days, health insurance, Christmas bonus.

Pay: $4,800.00 - $5,300.00 per month
