Full Job Description

Gojob is hiring Insider Claims Adjusters (Trainee) for an auto insurance company located in** Franklin, TN.**

You will be responsible for the investigation and resolution of claims, learning and applying our Claims Best Practices to ensure quality standards, providing great customer service and quality coverage on liability investigations, and timely resolution of files.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to policyholders and third-party claimants through prompt investigations, accurate claim decisions, and clear communication with all stakeholders.
Continuously improve performance based on customer service surveys, complaints, and DOI feedback.
Manage and resolve minor bodily injury (BI) claims efficiently and in accordance with company best practices.
Identify and facilitate BI cashouts using Meds Incurred and Open Meds Release, applying strong negotiation skills to optimize settlements. Measure success based on individual and team contributions to the Unit cashout percentage, as tracked in Cognos.

Qualifications:

Experience: Insurance or related fields is preferred.
Knowledge: Claims Best Practices, tort laws, Department of Insurance regulations, particularly state fair claims practice act.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows 95 or above, Microsoft Access, AS 400 system and Internet browsing.
**General skills: **faxing, copying and filing, typing 30 WPM, oral decision making and problem-solving skills, and written communication skills.
