Position: Social Media Content Creator

Location: The Wedding Ring Shop — Honolulu, HI

Employment Type: Part Time

Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour

About the Role

The Wedding Ring Shop is seeking a creative Social Media Content Creator to lead and execute our social media presence across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for bringing our luxury brand to life through engaging content, consistent storytelling, and active community management. You’ll oversee the full content lifecycle—from concept to analytics—while ensuring every post reflects our elevated aesthetic and brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Production

· Shoot and edit high-quality photo and video content aligned with luxury brand standards

· Develop original content concepts (5 content posts per week) or repurpose vendor/partner content

· Capture in-store and event content to showcase products, experiences, and customer moments

Social Media Management

· Manage and maintain brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, Yelp, and Google Business

· Plan, schedule, and publish daily social media content

· Ensure consistent voice, tone, and visual identity across all platforms

Engagement & Community Building

· Monitor and respond to direct messages (DMs), comments, and customer interactions

· Actively engage with followers to build relationships and strengthen brand loyalty

· Maintain a strong, responsive community presence

Campaigns & Partnerships

· Coordinate influencer partnerships and collaborations

· Support social promotion of events, campaigns, and in-store activations

· Work with internal teams and external partners to capture and distribute content

Required Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing

· Strong skills in mobile photography, videography, and editing tools (e.g., CapCut, InShot)

· Experience managing Instagram, TikTok, and business listing platforms

· Excellent communication and copywriting skills

· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

· Ability to work independently and take initiative

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working with luxury, retail, or lifestyle brands

· Familiarity with influencer marketing and partnerships

· Basic design skills (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)

· Experience with Yelp Business, Google Business, or similar platforms
