Job Summary:

We are seeking a high-performing Medical Assistant to join our Orlando team as a HEDIS Quality Coordinator. In this role, you will take ownership of patient outreach, medication adherence, and care coordination to ensure compliance with HEDIS, STAR, and quality measures. You will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes while driving success in our value-based care programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conduct proactive outreach calls to patients for Annual Wellness Visits, preventive screenings, and chronic care follow-ups.

· Ensure medication adherence by following up on prescription refills, closing medication gaps, and helping patients stay compliant with treatment plans.

· Collaborate with office teams to ensure patients keep scheduled appointments and complete required services.

· Assist with scheduling patients directly to close care gaps and improve compliance.

· Track and close gaps in care using EMR and payer portals; accurately document all outreach.

· Partner with providers and care teams to prioritize high-value quality measures.

· Meet weekly and monthly outreach and gap closure targets.

Qualifications/Education:

· Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or equivalent.

· 2+ years of experience in a clinical or quality-focused setting (Medicare Advantage experience preferred).

· Knowledge of HEDIS measures, STAR ratings, and medication adherence programs.

· Strong patient engagement and communication skills.

· EMR experience (eClinicalWorks a plus).

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
