Koniag Integration Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Illustrator, Sr. to support KINS and our government customer. This position is a full time in-office position and requires the candidate to be able to maintain a SECRET Level Clearance.

Job Summary:
The Illustrator, Sr. will prepare all types of illustrations for Air Force technical manuals.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.)
- Work collaboratively with company and Government personnel in person to meet all requirements of the Performance Work Statement.
- Must be able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings for conversion into TO compatible line drawings.
- Perform conversions of halftones (photographs) into line drawings and prepare exploded views of equipment to be used in parts breakdowns and for disassembly/assembly instructions.
- Apply nomenclature to illustrations and schematics in compliance with government specifications for various publications.
- Generate technical illustrations in accordance with governing specifications and/or industry standards.
- Authorized access to classified information; active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
- Perform photo editing using graphics software such as, Corel PHOTO-PAINT, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator software, et al.
- Assigns work to and provides leadership and expert guidance to less experienced illustrators.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
· Minimum 5 years work experience.
· Demonstrated Technical Illustration skills.
· Extensive work experience with publishing or graphics software used on this project and publishing standard/process.
· Demonstrated work experience with publishing or graphics software used on this project and a publishing standard/process.
· Ability to interpret sketches from engineers, technical writers, et al, and covert TO illustrations.
· Must have knowledge/experience with graphics design/management software, including AutoCAD.
· Ability to “multi-task” and adjust to changing situations with minimal interruption in work.
· Ability to interpret technical orthographic engineering drawings for transformation to line art.
· Ability to render isometric illustrations to support assembly views for various publications from source 3D engineering files.
· Ability to adapt to changes in program schedules and illustration priorities which may require working with different software and program directives.
· Proven flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment and ability to coordinate with multiple individuals concurrently to expedite progress.
· Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
· Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
· Dependable attendance.
· U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person status.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time, review information on a computer screen and be able to withstand repetitive motion (up to 10 hours a day with lunch and breaks). The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment and ability to work more than a 40-hour week if necessary.
Working Environment & Conditions
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.

This position is located at Tinker, Hill, or Robins AFB.
Travel is not required.
