About Us:

Located in the heart of Cornelius, NC, our functional medicine and wellness practice takes a deep, personalized approach to health—digging into root causes, not just managing symptoms.

Our services include Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), Functional Medicine and Functional Lab Testing, Weight Loss Solutions, Peptide Therapy, IV Therapy, and more.

We’re a small but mighty team, and as we grow, we’re looking for a like-minded RN/LPN who shares our passion for empowering patients to take charge of their health.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a unique hybrid role that combines clinical nursing responsibilities with the patient-focused duties of a Patient Care Coordinator. This role starts as part-time with the potential to grow as our patient community expands.

Responsibilities include:

Conduct nursing assessments and evaluations in accordance with clinic’s established medical protocols and standing orders.
Perform blood draws and lab processing.
Administer primary nursing services, including IV therapy and intramuscular injections using prescribed formulas, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Document all medication changes accurately.
Communicate treatment plans and follow-up instructions from providers to patients.
Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to thoroughly document patient visits and therapies administered.
Demonstrate therapeutic communication, excellent customer service, professionalism, punctuality, efficiency, and strong teamwork.
Foster a collaborative team environment that supports staff development and retention.
Address employee health and safety concerns appropriately and proactively.
Be available to support front desk operations as needed (not a primary responsibility).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Exhibits use of therapeutic communication, exceptional customer service, professionalism, timeliness, and efficiency in all aspects of work.
Participate in staff meetings and continuing education activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in functional medicine and wellness solutions.
Actively participate in quality improvement processes while being open to the ongoing changes in medical care and make suggestions for improvements.
Keep all protected health information (PHI) confidential and abide by HIPAA guidelines for the release and disclosure of any PHI.

Qualifications:

Current RN or LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, OR), or a comparable practice aligned with our services.
At least 1 year of experience administering injections preferred.
IV therapy specialty experience strongly preferred.
Passion for integrative and alternative medicine.
CPR certification required within 90 days of hire; must be maintained continuously.
Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is preferred.
