POSITION OVERVIEW
The Multimedia Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and executing creative solutions across multiple media channels for the Bowtech family of brands and products. This role combines graphic design, digital content management, and brand stewardship to ensure consistent, high-quality visual communication across print, digital, web, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker who can manage projects from concept through final delivery while maintaining brand standards and meeting business objectives. This position plays a key role in creating engaging customer experiences, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring that all digital and print assets are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Multimedia Graphic Designer is responsible for managing creative projects from strategy and concept development through final production and delivery across multiple products, brands, and media formats. This role plays a critical part in maintaining and enhancing the Bowtech family of brands by creating, implementing, and leveraging brand standards and style guides to ensure consistency and strengthen brand identity.
Core creative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the development of:
- Graphics and logos
- Product badging and artwork
- Consumer packaging artwork
- Product slicks, posters, and white papers
- Product catalogs
- Event materials, presentations, sales collateral, and quick-reference guides
- Digital advertisements and banner campaigns
- Website graphics and content assets
- Social media creative and campaign assets
In addition to traditional graphic design responsibilities, this role serves as a steward of the company's digital content and owned media channels. The Multimedia Graphic Designer is responsible for supporting digital strategy and ensuring all owned properties are maintained, updated, and aligned with current marketing initiatives and brand standards.
Digital content responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Corporate websites
- Product-specific webpages
- Blogs and resource centers
- Homepage and rotating banner content
- E-commerce assets and content
- Display advertising
- Product announcements and launches
- News and promotional updates
- Product information pages
- Interactive tools and quizzes
This position is responsible for ensuring all time-sensitive content and collateral are updated accurately and in a timely manner. Digital properties should be populated and optimized prior to, or simultaneously with, public announcements and social media campaigns to provide a consistent customer experience and support engagement and sales objectives.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports and adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Maintains current knowledge of departmental processes, design trends, and industry best practices.
- Ensures all creative assets are developed, delivered, and published on schedule across digital and print platforms.
- Responds to interdepartmental design requests and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creates and delivers creative assets in support of the Social Media, Product Marketing, Sales, and Corporate teams.
- Assists with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of four (4) years of graphic design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong file organization and asset management skills with the ability to maintain a structured and efficient digital library.
- Solid understanding of modern design principles, including layout, typography, photo manipulation, color theory, and vector graphics.
- Strong graphic design and visual communication skills with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with both Mac and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and processes preferred.
- Knowledge of archery industry terminology and products, or the ability and willingness to quickly learn product specifications and features.
- Ability to conceptualize, design, present, and execute modern print and digital experiences, including branding systems, illustration, campaign assets, and social media content.
- Experience creating materials for multiple formats and channels, including print, digital, web, and social media.
- Experience managing website content and digital assets; familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is preferred.
- Experience with photography, video editing, motion graphics, or other multimedia tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and emerging design technologies is preferred.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, search engine optimization (SEO), and analytics tools is preferred.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and digital campaign execution is preferred.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively under pressure.
- Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
- Demonstrates professionalism and receptiveness to feedback and incorporates input constructively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Portfolio demonstrating print, digital, branding, and campaign work is required and must be provided for consideration.
