Full Job Description

Neptuno, the leading telecommunications Company in Puerto Rico, is looking for a dynamic Sr. Network Consultant to join Team.

As a Sr. Network Consultant you will design, implement, optimize and enhancement of wireless telecommunications networks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

Technical support Engineer level 2 of the Network IP Group personnel for all technical issues
Customer's LAN & WAN Configuration, Maintenance and Troubleshooting
CPE Homologation for Voice and Data (Cisco, Tadiran, Fortinet, AVAYA)
Design, Provisioning and implementation of CPE voice and data (Cisco, Tadiran, Fortinet, AVAYA)
Technical assistance to area technicians in CPE facilities such as: Routers, Switches, Firewall, Wi-Fi networks, PBX & IPPBX, Routing protocols (BGP4, OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP, RIP, IBGP, EBGP, TCP / IP, IPX / SPX)
Implementation of DHCP, DNS, FTP, TFTP
Support to maintenance groups at island (Zonas) and CNOC levels
Mobility (visit customers for provisioning, facilities or CPE maintenance)
Assistance to Sellers, Sales Coordinators and DIO in possible proposals of projects of Networks that include voice and data new clients
Technical Evaluation and recommendation of new Products
Prepare Network assessment for enterprise customers
Answer to highest escalations from PRE- Sales & Engineering for Network and Customer issues
Leadership in troubleshooting complex customer network solutions issues and bringing resolution
Provide Technical Leadership and Support to the Project Manager & Service Managers
Overseeing new network elements into the operating environment
Support sales and business development in identifying new business opportunities and responding to RFPs. Includes participating in customer calls and developing cost/price models solutions

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Networking
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or CCNA at least
5 to 7 years of experience in design, implementation, administration and optimization of enterprise internetworking devices such as firewalls, routers, switches and security devices.

High level of professionalism and integrity

Other Qualifications:

Ability to speak and write Spanish and English
Able to work different shifts and weekends
Able to travel 40 % of the time
Strong communication and listening skills
