Quince Imaging is looking for an Associate Creative Technologist to join our Creative team in Sterling, VA. This role is envisioned as an entry-level opportunity for someone who is curious, motivated, technically minded, and excited to grow at the intersection of creativity, technology, and live production. While specific advanced skills are not strictly required, candidates with more hands-on experience are also encouraged to apply.
The Associate Creative Technologist will support our existing Creative, Systems Integration, and Live Events teams by helping produce a wide range of technical and creative solutions for our clients. Projects may include professional and collegiate sports environments, live events, branded experiences, immersive installations, projection mapping, LED displays, media server workflows, and other experiential technologies.
This position is designed for growth. Initial training will be provided, but the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and able to learn new tools, workflows, and technical systems quickly and independently. Strong collaboration and communication skills are highly valued.
This role is based out of our Sterling, VA headquarters. In-office expectations will depend on the needs of specific projects, assigned duties, training, shop work, or team collaboration. When the work does not require you to be in the office, remote work may be possible. Travel will also be required depending on the show, event, or installation being supported. Time on the road can vary from a few days to several weeks, and occasional international travel may be required. Candidates should also be comfortable with the realities of live event and installation work, including long days, extended hours, and schedules that may exceed 40 hours per week, depending on project demands.
