Primary Responsibilities:

Identify, recruit and place corporate-law-firm-level attorneys and paraprofessionals in secondment, interim, consulting and permanent roles with leading companies and law firms (e.g. general counsel, chief compliance officer, senior corporate counsel & other in house roles, and partner, counsel and associate level roles at corporate law firms)
- Manage full life cycle of placement (e.g. source, recruit, interview, assess and propose candidates proactively or in response to specific client requests)

Effectively present (both orally and in writing) proposed candidates to in-house counsel and law firm partner clients

Assist in the development and operation of creative sourcing, assessment, placement and onboarding processes

Nurture positive relationships with Latitude’s attorney/paraprofessional team through ongoing communications, social medial, social events, and professional development activities

Work as part of a cohesive, collaborative team which is highly responsive to its candidates, consulting attorneys and paralegals, other professionals and clients
Requirements:

Minimum of three years of experience as a practicing attorney preferably in a mid-to-large corporate law firm or in-house setting

Strong client service skills, including the ability to communicate (both orally and in writing) at a high level with sophisticated law firm and corporate legal department clients and attorneys to determine client needs and attorney qualifications

Dependable, detail-oriented, very organized, capable of using document management and database management software programs, highly discreet, high integrity and a total team player

As this position is with a fast-growing, agile company, the successful applicant must be highly flexible and able to work as part of a collaborative team

Ability to effectively use social media, online recruiting tools and in-person networking to source new candidates and market open positions

Demonstrated active involvement in professional associations and activities. Leadership experience in professional organization is highly preferred (e.g. local, state and national bar associations, Association of Corporate Counsel, Inn of Court, etc.)

Ability to identify priorities and pivot or adjust focus work as appropriate

This is a demanding full-time professional position which offers a flexible schedule but does involve communicating with team members and clients as needed, including sometimes responding to emails during evenings and on weekends.

Compensation:
Pay: Compensation is comprised of a base salary plus bonus. The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $125,000 annually with potential for a bonus up to 25% of base salary, so there is potential of an “all in” compensation of $112,500 to $156,250. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
Benefits: Latitude employees are eligible for full benefits including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. For eligible employees, there is a CLE and Professional Expense stipend of up to $1,000 per year.
