Full Job Description

Team

Consults with Medical Writing, Account, and Market Access Strategy teams to create compelling designs across all digital and print media
Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Key Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a deep understanding of assigned clients and products, contributing to the creation and refinement of brand strategy
Independently designs materials and explores multiple creative design directions based on strategic and tactical plans within outlined timelines and budgets
Maintains high-quality deliverables by being accountable for the accuracy of their work and following direction from the creative brief and/or Creative Lead
Creates compelling and clear visualizations of data, charts, and infographics
Works with production and digital personnel, providing complete input, and any instruction and supervision required to smoothly complete production of approved design
Supports client interactions, defending work and perspectives

Operations

Maintains working up-to date knowledge of computer design software and hardware and strives to stay current with trends, emerging design techniques, and applications
Supports new business pitches, contributing to creative concepts or ideation of pitch presentations
Manages and prioritizes a workload of multiple projects to meet agreed upon timelines
Follows industry best practices and understands Regulatory restrictions

Bachelor’s degree; or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
5+ experience designing for healthcare clients, agency experience is required
Launch experience is preferred
Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations and industry best practices
Proficiency in digital and print design
Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and XD, Sketch, & Figma
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects in a timely manner
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to drive change and achieve results in a dynamic environment

The Senior Art Director is responsible for concept, design, and development of resources across multiple accounts, projects and platforms, as well as understanding the production process related to both print and digital. You must be able to work independently and effectively across a dynamic team, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment. Through a solution-oriented mindset, you must demonstrate a commitment to quality and a collaborative approach.
