Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and flavor combinations based on current trends and customer preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards in production and handling
Use proper knife skills and slicing techniques to prepare ingredients efficiently and safely
Support food service operations by plating dishes promptly and accurately for delivery or dine-in service
Follow food safety management practices to prevent cross-contamination, spoilage, or other hazards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods and catering events

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a strong understanding of kitchen operations
Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
Skilled in food handling, safety standards in production, and food safety management practices
Excellent knife skills and slicing techniques for efficient ingredient prep
Familiarity with meal preparation, catering, and serving processes within the food industry
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining high quality standards
Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to sanitation protocols
