Full Job Description

Inventory Coordinator

We are looking for a person to assist our busy Tooling department with a variety of inventory tasks. Attention to detail is very important, watching for notes, and reviewing all data.

Productivity is a distributor of Machine Tools, Tooling and Accessories, Industrial Supplies, Robotics, and Services that help organizations overcome production challenges, streamline their operations and increase profitability.

Full-time - 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM - NO HYBRID

Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across assigned product categories.
Analyze inventory usage, demand trends, and replenishment needs.
Coordinate with purchasing to recommend reorder quantities and timing.
Support inventory planning initiatives such as buy-aheads.
Investigate inventory variances and root causes.
Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP system.
Communicate inventory status, risks, and recommendations to internal teams.
Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and efficiency.
Backup to Purchasing & Tool-Expedite teams.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret inventory metrics and usage reports.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to prioritize workload in a fast‑paced environment.
