The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for the skilled, competent, quality repair, and maintenance of Ground Force/Mega Worldwide of Albuquerque facilities and equipment. Starting wage $23-$28/hour depending on experience.
The Maintenance Technician performs highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. The role of facilities maintenance technicians also carries out preventive and corrective maintenance job duties on electrical or mechanical systems and shop equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Lead and/or Plant Manager - Production.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of high voltage/AC (120, 230, 277, and 480 volt) experience or knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and DC electric. Licensed of Certified Electrician would be a plus
- Knowledge of plumbing (PVC, copper, and black pipe)
- Demonstrate mechanical ability and/or aptitude to perform heavy equipment assembly repair and maintenance on machines such as, (not limited to) forklifts, press breaks, and cranes
- Ability to troubleshoot with welders, mig guns, and other small tools
- Ability to perform simple repair welds
- Basic knowledge of reading and writing
- Ability to read and understand warning and safety regulations
- Capable of standing, bending, and climbing for long periods of time
- Capable of lifting up to forty pounds. Situations may require operating equipment to lift miscellaneous parts
- Capable of working in various weather conditions
- Capable of working around high noise levels
- Capable of working in high places on a lift and in confined spaces.

- Hazards associated with high-speed machines, rotating blades, and gears
- Hazards associated with working on ladders and man lifts
