Argo Law, LLC is seeking an experienced family law paralegal to join a quiet, highly organized solo attorney practice.
This position is ideal for a steady, self-motivated professional who values structure, consistency, and a focused work environment without the chaos of larger firms. This is not an entry-level role—we are looking for someone who can step in and contribute immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings (divorce, custody, and related family law matters)
- Draft and manage discovery requests and responses
- Organize exhibits and maintain case files
- Manage calendars and track deadlines
- Perform Alabama e-filing
- Accurately track time in Clio
- Support overall case workflow and organization
This role involves both substantive legal work and day-to-day case management responsibilities.
Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
- Minimum 4 years of family law paralegal experience required
- At least 2 years of Alabama family law experience required
- Strong drafting and discovery experience
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently
- Steady, consistent worker who follows through on daily tasks
- Comfortable using technology and case management systems
Preferred:
- Clio experience (strongly preferred)
- Microsoft 365 experience
- Familiarity with Dialpad or Canva
Paralegal certification is not required. Practical, hands-on experience in a law firm setting is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- $20–$25 per hour (depending on experience and fit)
- Performance-based bonus opportunities tied to productivity and contribution
- Additional compensation available for candidates commuting 30+ miles
- Nearly 3 weeks paid time off + 8 paid holidays
Schedule
- Full-time preferred; part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate
- Flexible scheduling available; however, the selected schedule will be set and consistent
- Options may include 3-day or 4-day workweeks
