Full Job Description

Job Title: Cabinet Finisher

Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Cabinet Finisher to join our fast-growing team in Atlanta. If you’re hungry, driven, and looking to grow into a leadership role, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As our business expands, we are committed to promoting top performers into leadership roles based on merit and performance. This role will focus on restoring and finishing cabinets to meet our high standards of craftsmanship, working both in our workshop and occasionally on-site. You will report directly to the owner/general manager and collaborate with the entire team to deliver outstanding results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Finish, paint, stain, clean, sand, and prepare cabinets and components for final delivery
Perform color matching to restore cabinets to pre-loss condition
Work with a variety of tools and equipment including spray booths, spray guns, stains, paints, brushes, sanders, power tools, and dust collection systems
Occasionally assist on job sites performing touch-ups, repairs, and precision re-finishing
Collaborate daily with builders, technicians, and the general manager
Maintain inventory of finishing supplies and notify when reorders are needed
Identify wood species, grain patterns, and match finishes accurately
Proactively flag issues, propose solutions, and maintain quality standards
Become proficient in the DASH job management system to track job progress
Keep accurate records to support office reporting and invoicing

Requirements

5+ years experience finishing cabinets, furniture, wood trim, or similar surfaces
Experience color matching stains and paints with a high degree of accuracy
Proficient with finishing equipment: spray booths, guns, stains, sanders, etc.
Ability to operate and maintain spray booths safely and in compliance with VOC regulations
Detail-oriented with high standards for craftsmanship
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Knowledge of the restoration, construction, or woodworking industry is a plus
Safety-first mindset and familiarity with safety protocols
