Full Job Description

Job Summary
Associated Employers (AE) is looking for a full-time JR HR Business Partner to join our team. AE provides our member employers to expert advice, support, information, research, and training in a wide range of human resource and business administration areas. In this role, you will train and learn to serve as a trusted advisor to businesses in all areas HR. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise while making a meaningful impact on our company's growth and success.

What we do -

HR Member Support – You will research and respond to member inquiries, either by phone or in person, regarding employment related issues while providing assistance and education. You will review, revise, and develop employee handbooks, policies and procedures, and job descriptions. You will participate in educational opportunities and stay current on federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment and prepare or help prepare a monthly member newsletter.

HR Consulting Projects – You will prepare proposals and conduct HR consulting projects, including, but not limited to: HR needs assessments; HR partnering services; harassment and discrimination investigations and reports of findings; Affirmative Action Plan development and consultation; and recruiting projects, including development of job description, job ads, screening of applicants, interviews, and reference checks.

Training - You will coordinate, develop and conduct live and virtual training for members and non-members focusing on various human resource, leadership and business areas. You will evaluate training outcomes and modify training materials and instructional methods to fit the specific needs of participants and ensure understanding and transfer of concepts.

Business to Business Sales – You will engage sales strategies to develop long-term sources of clients through referrals, occupational, and special-interest groups to compile lists of prospects. You will approach potential clients in person or by phone, email, etc. and provide continuing service to existing clients.

Research & Analysis – You will develop, promote, conduct and maintain Human Resource survey tools such as Member Surveys, Wage and Salary Surveys, Benefits, Policies and Practices Surveys, Employee Opinion Surveys, Customer Satisfaction Surveys, and 360 Degree Peer Reviews. You will stay appraised of and implement current best practices in survey methodology and analysis.

Compensation Analyses – You will conduct research on industry and regional trends regarding salaries, benefits, and remuneration policies and construct and/or advise clients in the design, implementation and revision of compensation/benefits philosophies and pay structures.

You may also perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support our clients and Associated Employers’ Mission.

What you need -

· Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and prefer at-least one year of professional-level experience in human resources or related.

· Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

· SHRM or HRCI certification or work towards this preferred.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced client-facing environment with ever-changing priorities.
