Full Job Description

The Quality Analyst will perform specialized tasks across key areas of the QA lab and plant’s quality systems and

processes, including food safety, quality auditing/inspection, training, data analytics, feed and raw material testing

and other focused quality initiatives. In this role, you will primally test raw material and finished feed for quality

assurance, support preparation for and participation in external and internal audits, partner with internal and external

teams to address customer requirements and concerns and help drive continuous improvement across food safety

Key Responsibilities

 Testing raw material and finished feed: which includes logging samples, grinding, testing.

 Support verification and maintenance activities for food safety and quality systems, hazard analysis,

sanitation, prerequisite programs, the plant housekeeping, process deviation and customer complaints.

 Collaborate with operations teams to initiate corrective actions and preventive measures as needed

 Support External audits.

 Independently resolve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more complex

matters to appropriate staff.

 Monitor and report data

 Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

 Minimum of two years of related work experience.

 Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience.

 Fluency in English.

 Knowledge of food and feed safety industry practices and standards.

 Stand for extended periods of time

 Lift 50 pounds

 Clime stairs

Preferred Qualifications

 A degree in biology, chemistry or equivalent lab testing experience.
