Pay: $63.00 - $68.00 per hour + possible profit-based bonus

Job description:

Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Customedica Pharmacy (Boise & Eagle, Idaho locations)

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (rotating)

Reports To: Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)/Pharmacy Manager

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accurate medication dispensing and to prevent medication errors.
Analyze patient profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic duplications.
Counsel patients on the proper use, storage, and potential side effects of prescriptions.
Administer vaccines and maintain accurate immunization records.
Maintain strict adherence to State Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and FDA regulations, including management of controlled substance logs.
Navigate third-party adjudications, resolve insurance rejections, and oversee the prior authorization process.
Provide leadership and oversight to pharmacy technicians, ensuring a workflow that is both efficient and safe.

Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) from an accredited college and current Idaho Pharmacist license or ability to apply and meet all requirements for licensure upon offer of employment.

Physical Requirements

High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours per day).
Dexterity and fine motor skills for handling small instruments and counting pills.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
