Location: The Parc at Harbor View – Winthrop, Massachusetts
Job Type: Full-time | Part-time | Per diem

**Pay Rate is negotiable depending on experience

**3:00pm-11:30pm or 11:00pm-7:30am shifts available

**Must Be Vaccinated**

**Must be able to speak, write and understand English**

Are you a Home Health Aide or CNA Certified Nurse Assistant that has a true love for working with seniors? Does helping others truly make for work you value? Are you described as dependable and hardworking? If you can answer ‘yes’ to those three questions, you may be the Caregiver we are looking for to join our team of dedicated care professionals.

Job Summary for the Caregiver:

Caregivers ensure that our residents’ needs of daily living are met by providing personal assistance such as, but not limited to, assisting residents with bathing, dressing, serving meals, washing and drying laundry, visiting with residents, and attending to other resident needs as they arise. Some weekends are required.

What You’ll Do

· Assist residents with daily living needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals

· Assist with light housework

· Assist with laundry

· Provide one-on-one companionship and emotional support throughout the day

· Help residents safely move and navigate their environment

· Maintain accurate communication with nursing staff and coworkers

· Participate in and support resident activities including crafts, music, meals, and seasonal events

· Encourage engagement, laughter, and a sense of purpose for each individual resident

· Contribute to a calm, respectful, and home-like atmosphere

Qualifications

Home Health Aide or CNA Certification required
Must be dependable, kind, and comfortable working with older adults
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
CPR/First Aid certification a plus
Knowledge of memory care techniques and behavior management strategies a plus
Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and their families
All candidates must successfully complete a background check prior to employment
