Founded in 2014 by Jerome Jacques Marie Mage, Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods specializing in the micro-production of luxury eyewear for a clientele of discerning tastes.

With each new collection, JMM embraces a unique palette of precious materials, rich colors, and striking geometric forms, which cleverly reference and beautifully reconfigure the striking individuals, artistic movements, and world events of previous centuries. All JMM eyewear is ethically sourced and produced with the utmost respect for industry partners' environment and wellbeing.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Lifestyle Assistant to directly support our Founder. This role is a blend of personal and professional assistance, designed to ensure the Founder’s day-to-day operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in managing schedules, communications, and logistics, with a keen awareness of the fashion and luxury industries. This individual will act as a trusted partner to the Founder, keeping them informed of key trends and events in their industry while also managing personal and professional tasks with efficiency and discretion.

Founder Support:

Manage and optimize the Founder’s calendar, ensuring timely scheduling of meetings, travel, and personal commitments.
Handle communications on behalf of the Founder, including emails, phone calls, and other correspondence, prioritizing urgent matters and ensuring responses are timely and professional.
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
Provide concierge-style services, including managing personal errands and appointments as needed.
Keep track of important deadlines, events, and follow-up actions to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Organize and manage both personal and business-related documents and files, ensuring everything is readily accessible.

Fashion and Industry Awareness:

Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends, luxury brands, and key events in the industry, ensuring the Founder is informed of relevant news and opportunities.
Curate and recommend luxury experiences that align with the Founder’s preferences.
Monitor invitations to exclusive industry events (e.g., fashion shows, private launches, etc.), and keep the Founder informed of key happenings.

Key Requirements

6+ years of experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, or lifestyle manager, preferably within a luxury or fashion-focused environment.
Strong understanding of and interest in the fashion and luxury industries, including key trends, brands, and events.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with precision.
Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to maintain professionalism and discretion.
Proficiency with office software (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.) and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technology.
A high degree of flexibility, reliability, and the ability to anticipate needs and manage changing priorities effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
Comfortable with dogs, has a valid driver's license
