Full Job Description

Sweet Grass Acupuncture is currently seeking a licensed acupuncturist to join our growing clinic in Casper, Wyoming.

Our clinic specializes in women’s health and reproductive medicine, pain management, and anxiety/depression, though we are an all-encompassing general practice that serves ranchers, teachers, nurses, kids, moms, cowboys and veterans alike, as Wyoming has a wide-ranging demographic.

We’re seeking an acupuncturist who prioritizes compassion, grit and hard work, creativity and courage as main tools for providing excellent healthcare and building strong rapport with patients. Our ideal candidate is willing to learn some of our clinic’s specific treatment protocols and is comfortable treating multiple patients (preferably two patients per hour). We are also on a mission to provide exceptional care through an exceptional work life balance. Our goal is for all employees to work a productive 4 days a week and thrive the rest of their week.

Sweet Grass Acu offers multiple modalities including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, and gua-sha. We are cash based business but also serve veterans through the VA billing system. Details:

Becoming a Sweetgrass Acupuncture Practitioner means you will join a growing practice with a primary acupuncturist and a remote administrative assistant/scheduler.
Part time or full time available
Our ideal candidate must:

We have a wait list of over 80 patients. This is a rare opportunity to walk into a full schedule due to our great reputation and need for care in this community.
Our compensation model for clinicians is a W-2 straight commission on treatments performed, which means you will have freedom to set your own income. Pay is commission based at $45-$90 hour, plus 25% commission on herbs, supplements and topicals.
Employee may take have one week of vacation time every quarter.
SGA will pay for the practitioner’s first year of Wyoming license and provide a moving stipend if applicable.
Practitioner will start with one room, with a second available as practice grows.
All supplies and marketing provided by the business.
This is a long term opportunity for someone who does not want to own a business but enjoys being an empowered employee.

Casper is the second largest city in Wyoming, and boasts a long history of outdoor adventure, western culture, and affordable living. The community has been growing quickly over the past several years, adding new housing, restaurants, and businesses, making it a great opportunity for an up-and-coming practitioner. Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and diagnoses to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans.
Perform acupuncture sessions, including needle insertion, stimulation, and point selection, with emphasis on patient comfort and safety.
Monitor patient responses, document progress in EMR/EHR, and adjust treatments as needed.
Educate patients on treatment goals, aftercare, and lifestyle factors affecting outcomes.
Collaborate with clinicians on women's health and reproductive care and coordinate referrals when necessary.
Maintain accurate records, adhere to licensing and safety protocols, and uphold professional patient communication and rapport.
