Overview
Carolina One Real Estate is looking for a Lead Designer to join our marketing team and help raise the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of our creative work across the company.
This role reports to the Marketing Director and is both a hands-on design position and a creative oversight role. The Lead Designer will create high-quality marketing materials while also reviewing, guiding, and improving design work produced by other team members, vendors, freelancers, and outside partners.
The right person is a strong designer, a clear communicator, and a practical creative leader. They understand that great design is not just about making something look good. It is about making the message clear, supporting the brand, helping agents succeed, and creating marketing that people actually use.
Responsibilities
- Create polished, professional design assets for company marketing, agent support, recruiting, retention, events, presentations, print campaigns, social media, email, office communications, and other marketing needs
- Design materials that are visually strong, on-brand, easy to understand, and aligned with the intended audience
- Support both company-level campaigns and agent-facing marketing initiatives
- Create templates and reusable design assets that make it easier for the team and agents to produce consistent, high-quality work
- Prepare final files for print, digital, social media, email, presentation, and vendor production
- Ensure creative work is consistent with Carolina One brand standards, campaign goals, and quality expectations
- Help protect the visual integrity of the Carolina One brand across all offices, departments, agents, and public-facing materials
- Help manage the flow of custom design requests from agents, managers, offices, and other departments
- Balance creativity with speed, practicality, deadlines, and business impact
Skills
- Strong portfolio showing excellent visual design, layout, typography, brand consistency, and attention to detail
- Experience designing for both print and digital channels
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience reviewing or directing creative work produced by others
- Strong understanding of brand standards and how to apply them across many types of materials
- Ability to communicate design feedback clearly, respectfully, and practically
- Strong file organization, production, and project management habits
- Ability to work independently while staying aligned with the Marketing Director and broader team priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real estate, professional services, brokerage, franchise, or multi-location marketing
- Experience supporting sales professionals, independent contractors, or field-based teams
- Experience creating templates, brand systems, or scalable creative resources
- Familiarity with real estate marketing, listing promotion, recruiting campaigns, agent branding, events, and community-based marketing
- Experience working with outside vendors, printers, photographers, freelancers, or production partners
- Ability to write, edit, or refine simple marketing copy when needed

We also serve the Myrtle Beach and greater Grand Strand markets, under the Carolina One brand, as well as Columbia and the Midlands, under the Home Advantage Realty brand with offices in Columbia, Irmo, Lexington, Chapin, Blythewood, and Lake Carolina.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
