Full Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a plaintiff-side employment law firm dedicated to protecting workers’ rights through class and collective action litigation. We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly alongside attorneys at every stage of complex employment cases — from initial investigation through trial or settlement.

We are looking for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes ownership of their work, and brings strong organizational and communication skills to a growing practice.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

– Conduct legal research on employment law, wage-and-hour regulations, and class/collective action procedures

– Draft and proofread legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery requests, class certification materials, and settlement agreements

– Manage and organize case documents, filings, and correspondence with precision and consistency

– Coordinate and communicate with clients, keeping them informed on case status and gathering necessary documentation

– Liaise professionally with court clerks, opposing counsel staff, and judicial staff regarding filing deadlines, scheduling, and procedural requirements

– Track, calendar, and manage critical court deadlines, hearings, and filing requirements across multiple active cases

– Assist with class member communication, notice administration, and settlement distribution processes

– Support attorneys during depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

– 2+ years of paralegal experience preferred

– Paralegal certificate or associate’s/bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field

– Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly and concisely

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking with clients and court personnel with professionalism and empathy

– Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail across concurrent matters

– Proficiency with MS Office and e-filing systems (PACER/ECF)

– Ability to manage competing deadlines calmly and independently

– Bilingual Spanish/English a plus, but not required
