Full Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who is energetic, interested in working at a growing company, who believes in evidence-based treatment, strengths-based leadership, and is committed to a team-supported approach.

Part time and per diem structure available! Hybrid model with time in our Colorado springs office (50% in Colorado springs, 50% work remotely from home available).

For full time staff, position includes competitive salary, full health benefits, Paid Time Off, 401k plan, paid CEUs, six paid holidays, flexible schedule, and choice of 8 or 10 hour work days.

Position Summary

The Psychologist provides mental health assessment and diagnosis services for children and adolescents.
Collaborates with the intake team and the client (and/or guardian) to ensure timely meetings, documentation and coordination of care occurs.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Use appropriate assessment instruments and data to include formulated mental health diagnosis.
Provide family meeting post-diagnosis to discuss findings.
Complete concise report with clear recommendations for treatment of diagnoses.
Ensure that all individual diagnosis & plans and programs comply with FSC requirements, satisfy all relevant insurance certification and other expectations, and meet or exceed professional standards.
Maintain highly organized, consistent, thorough, and systematic recordkeeping practices.
Assessments will be dictated/documented in accordance with State and regulatory requirements a well as within the defined FSC timeframe.
Provide direct client support to clients in group settings in center as needed.
Communicate with team members, clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client diagnosis / progress.
Seek creative options for ensuring the continuity and consistency of support services across settings.
Develop strategies for the stability of quality services when clients experience transitions.
Participate in coordination of care process.
Promote positive public relations, facilitate interagency collaboration, and advocate for the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive services.
Participate in professional growth activities such as conferences, classes, and team meetings.

Minimum Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Ability to lift/push/pull, occasionally, 25 pounds to carry and/or lift assessments tools and supplies.
Must possess a minimum of a Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work or related Behavioral Health field (PhD or PsyD).
Ability to pass a Federal / State / County criminal background check.
Experience administering psychological tests, interpreting such and writing concise reports with clear recommendations.
Ability to utilize various types of technology (eg iPad, desktop, etc) for data tracking and documentation.
Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to professional skills and development, ethics and technology, and training in order to perform job responsibilities to required standard.
Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships by encouraging and facilitating cooperation, open communication, and team work at all levels of the organization.
Ability to interpret and implement protocols furnished in written or oral form.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with co-workers, clients, parents, and others.
Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices and paper means.
Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the
American Board of Professional Psychology.
High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
Ability to use sound judgment and seek appropriate consultation from their supervisor to ensure services are provided without disruption to the client, to others, and to the environment.
Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws.

Preferred: Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder

Licenses or Certifications

Must possess a valid Current Colorado State licensure i.e., PsyD, or PhD.
Must possess a valid CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification or be able to obtain the certification within 1 month of employment.
Must be registered as a Licensed Psychologist with Colorado Department of Regulatory agencies.
Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License or be able to obtain license within 14 days of employment.
Eligible for paneling with a number of private, commercial, and other third-party insurances (TriCare, Anthem, United, etc) as Clinical Psychologist.

Pay Range: $115,000 - $140,000 annually DOE.
