Job Summary: In this role, you will support the development and execution of Acom's marketing strategy, brand presence, and community engagement initiatives.
This role is a mix of marketing coordination, brand development and content creation with brand awareness and sponsorship events, networking opportunities, and community outreach efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and capable of turning ideas into tangible marketing initiatives that support business growth.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives that support Acom's brand awareness, business development, and growth objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute marketing collateral, sales support materials, branded templates, presentations, and other customer-facing resources.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across marketing channels, social media platforms, events, and company communications.
- Create, schedule, and manage content for social media and other marketing campaigns.
- Identify, pursue, and cultivate referral source relationships through strategic event presence, one-on-one outreach, and co-marketing partnerships converting contacts into active referral partners who consistently recommend Acom.
- Research target industries, vertical markets, industry associations, competitors, and business opportunities, providing recommendations to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Coordinate Acom's participation in trade shows, networking events, community engagements, sponsorships, and industry conferences.
- Track and report on community engagement activities, relationships built, and referral pipeline generated
- Identify sponsorship and co-marketing opportunities that align with Acom's target customer base
- Collaborate with leadership, sales teams, and subject matter experts to develop marketing content and support company objectives.
- Track marketing activities, event participation, and related metrics.
What You Bring to Us:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or community outreach (fire/security industry experience a plus, not required)
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite; basic comfort with website CMS platforms
- Active and engaging social media management experience
- Outgoing personality that genuinely enjoys networking and meeting people
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized self-starter who can manage multiple projects and community commitments simultaneously

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for community events and networking functions.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout event venues and customer locations for extended periods of time
