Full Job Description

Academia Medical Institute is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Associate Director of Nursing in a hands-on leadership role supporting the continued development and strengthening of our nursing program.

This is an opportunity for a nurse leader who wants to step beyond the classroom and play a meaningful role in shaping program outcomes, supporting faculty, and strengthening compliance in an academic environment.

We are a growing program focused on accountability, student success, and continuous improvement, and are looking for someone who wants to contribute to that momentum - not simply maintain the status quo.

What You’ll Do

Play a key role in supporting compliance with Ohio Board of Nursing and accreditation standards
Assist in developing, mentoring, and holding faculty accountable to performance expectations
Support clinical coordination and lab operations to ensure consistency and quality
Contribute to student progression, remediation, and retention strategies
Monitor program outcomes and participate in continuous quality improvement efforts

What We’re Looking For

Active Ohio RN license
Master’s Degree in Nursing (required)
Minimum of 5 years of clinical RN experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in postsecondary nursing education
Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Exposure to accreditation, compliance, or regulatory processes
