CNC Programmer/Operator
This position is located in New Liberty, Iowa, just outside of Walcott. We are a short commute from the Quad Cities!
Our family-owned and operated company produces casting tooling for the aerospace, aircraft, agricultural, and automotive industries, with an increasing emphasis on aerospace and aircraft. The pay range for this position is $24.00-$38.00 per hour based on experience.

This position is full-time, M-F, 7:00am - 3:30pm (flexible start time), 40 hours per week with regular overtime potential!
We are looking for a knowledgeable CNC Programmer/Operator to program and use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. Since some materials are not easy to shape or handle manually or with conventional equipment, your job is critical!
CNC Programmers/Operators are highly skilled professionals, able to work with great concentration and precision. They must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential.
The goal is to produce high quality parts by programming machines to perform the correct operations.
CNC Programmer Responsibilities:

Input the product design into the computer modeling software.

Choose and load the correct cutting tools for the job.

Adjust machine settings to the desired product specifications.

Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process.

Complete quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.

At times cleaning and maintaining the machine.
CNC Programmer Requirements:

Mastercam or similar CAM software experience.

High school diploma or GED.
-
Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs to cut various materials.

Handle multiple and frequently changing priorities.

Strong attention to detail.
-
Work independently and stick to deadlines.

Stand for extended periods.

Lift heavy objects.
CNC Programmer Attributes That Are Helpful:

Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.

Train new staff in machine operation procedures.

Mastercam experience.

Tool and Die experience
