Ramirez, Johnson, and Associates is expanding and we are searching for a leader who can influence quality, guide people, and help shape the direction of our mechanical engineering practice. If you are an experienced mechanical engineer looking for the right platform to lead projects, develop others, and take ownership of your work, this position offers the opportunity to do exactly that.

We are a collaborative MEP engineering firm located in Denver’s RiNo District. Our projects span high performance affordable housing, breweries, restaurants, municipal facilities, and major transportation hubs. We take pride in thoughtful design, lasting relationships, and a culture built on support, accountability, and technical growth.

What You Will Do

Lead mechanical system design across commercial, municipal, and specialty building projects
Manage project delivery and coordination from early concept through construction
Mentor, support, and guide junior and mid level engineers
Review engineering documents for quality, performance, and constructability
Advance technical standards, workflows, and best practices within the mechanical discipline
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and design partners

What You Bring

6 to 12 years experience in mechanical building system design
Mechanical Engineering degree required
Strong HVAC and plumbing design capabilities with proficiency in Revit and CAD
Ability to oversee projects, manage schedules, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Clear communication skills, professional presence, and a leadership mindset
Commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
