Full Job Description

Are You a People Person with exceptional customer service skills?

Are you a friendly, organized professional with a passion for creating exceptional patient experiences?

In this a part time role, in-person role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported as they seek care for their foot and ankle conditions.

What You’ll Do:

Greet patients with a warm smile, manage check-in/check-out processes, and provide outstanding customer service.
Schedule appointments in Athena, coordinate follow-ups, and manage the clinic’s calendar to keep operations running smoothly.
Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and assist with billing inquiries to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
Answer phone calls (we use Quo), respond to patient inquiries, and communicate effectively with the podiatrist, medical assistants, and external providers.
Maintain accurate patient records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
Keep the front desk area organized and professional, contributing to a welcoming clinic environment.
Collaborate with our friendly team to support seamless clinic operations and deliver a top-notch patient experience.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Prior experience in a medical office, customer service and knowledge of insurance verification.
Skills: Proficiency with EHR systems, scheduling software.
Customer Focus: A warm, professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
Organization: Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and committed to the schedule we agree upon.
