Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tool Maker & Die Repair Technician to join our automotive manufacturing team. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and repairing production dies and tooling to ensure efficient operations and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

Build, repair, and maintain stamping dies, roll forming tooling, and fixtures
Diagnose and correct die/tooling issues to minimize downtime
Perform die setups, adjustments, and test runs to meet specifications
Operate manual and CNC machines, grinders, mills, lathes, and EDM equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve tooling issues
Comply with all safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Completion of Tool & Die Apprenticeship or equivalent experience
3–5 years’ experience in tool making, die repair, or precision machining (automotive preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and machining skills
Knowledge of IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 standards preferred

***This is a 2nd Shift position (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM) and will include a $2/hour shift premium.***
