Customer Success Specialist
Pay: starting at $80,000/year
Employment Status: Full Time, Exempt
Work Week: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
Hours: Night shift, starting at 7PM or 8PM
Route Length: typically 8-10 hours, but can be 10-12 hours particularly during peak season (generally mid-November to mid-January)
What You’ll Do
You’ll operate independently on night shifts to safely deliver fuel to Carmyn customers, primarily by wet-hose fueling fleet vehicles. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role: you’ll safely operate a straight truck, load and offload petroleum products, monitor equipment and flow rates, complete pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure every delivery is executed safely, accurately, and on time.
You’ll be responsible for more than just driving - you’re the operator on the ground responsible for ensuring customer fleets are properly fueled and ready to go for their crews in the morning. That means solving problems in real time, adapting to changing routes or site conditions, and maintaining a high standard of safety and service without direct oversight. You’ll use tools like barcode scanners and checklists to ensure accuracy, and you’ll be expected to follow all hazmat, environmental, and safety protocols without exception.
Fuel Delivery:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip maintenance and inspections of delivery equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Complete cross-training to independently and safely perform basic maintenance tasks, such as switching out hoses, to minimize vehicle downtime
- Safely operate fuel transport vehicles to deliver petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel, and lubricants, to commercial and residential customers
- Complete operational checklists on deliveries, including placement of cones and wheel chalking, for safety, and to ensure optimal operational efficiency
- Dispense fuel to fleet and storage tank customers, utilizing all required safety equipment, such as spill mats
- Use technology such as barcode scanners for accurate fuel dispensing and operational management at various customer sites
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication and timely service
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to fuel delivery and service as needed
Loading and Unloading:
- Accurately and safely load and offload petroleum products, monitoring flow rates and ensuring proper connections to prevent spills and leaks
- Maintain accurate records of fuel quantities transferred, completing necessary documentation for each delivery
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that delivery vehicles and fueling equipment are clean and properly maintained, including reporting any mechanical issues promptly to your Operations Manager for resolution
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to hazardous materials transportation and environmental protection
- Participate in safety training and emergency response drills, being prepared to manage spills or hazardous incidents
- Utilize all available safety features such as interlock systems while operating the truck, ensuring the highest standards of safety at all times
- Adhere to Carmyn’s DOT safety program, including consenting to random drug testing and annual motor vehicle record checks
Who You Are

- Positive & Professional - You bring a constructive attitude to the work, representing the company well with customers, and contributing to a reliable team environment.
- Proactive Communicator - You use good judgment to balance working independently and knowing when to reach out. You don’t stay silent when unsure and confirm the right approach, especially when safety, compliance, or customer impact is involved.

About Carmyn
Carmyn is building a more efficient, reliable way to power fleets - today and into the future.
We deliver fuel directly to vehicles, eliminating downtime, improving cost control, and keeping operations moving. But what sets us apart isn’t just what we do - it’s how we do it. We design our operations for efficiency and safety, and continuously improve our equipment to do the job better. From long-reach hoses that reduce unnecessary truck movement to solar-powered onsite tanks that increase throughput and accountability, we build systems that make our drivers and our customers more effective.
We’re a fast-growing company with momentum. After operating as a small team through 2024, we expanded rapidly in 2025 and are on track to grow significantly again this year. Our customers - including large fleet operators - are asking us to expand as fast as we can, and we’re scaling carefully to maintain the service and standards that got us here. We’re also building for the future. While we power fleets today, we’re actively developing solutions in EV charging and hydrogen to support the next generation of energy.
We offer real opportunities to grow alongside us. We promote from within and support relocation for new markets. Employees also participate in the company’s long-term success through equity, because we believe the people doing the work should benefit from what we’re building.
