Position Summary: Serves as the primary point of contact for customer technical support inquiries related to Midco Combustion and EmberGlo Foodservice products. Provides remote troubleshooting, technical guidance, and customer support for electro-mechanical equipment, combustion systems, controls, and foodservice equipment. Coordinates service activities, escalates issues when necessary, and works closely with engineering, sales, and authorized service providers to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Technical Support

Serve as the primary contact for inbound technical support requests.
Diagnose equipment, controls, wiring, and performance issues through phone, video, and remote support tools.
Guide customers and service technicians through troubleshooting and repair procedures.
Determine when issues can be resolved remotely versus requiring field service support.
Escalate complex technical issues to engineering, product specialists, or service partners as needed.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service activities.

Customer Service

Respond to customer technical questions and support requests in a professional and timely manner.
Provide product operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting guidance.
Coordinate with authorized service providers and sales representatives to resolve customer concerns.
Identify opportunities for product improvements and communicate feedback to appropriate departments.
Maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.

Service Administration

Document service requests, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions within Pipedrive CRM system and other company systems.
Create and manage service incidents and work orders as required.
Ensure accurate tracking of service activities, callbacks, and follow-up actions.
Assist in developing technical documentation, troubleshooting resources, and customer support materials.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to customer support and service processes.

Competencies:

Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of industrial combustion systems and controls.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/service management software.
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Required education and experience:

Associate degree in Electrical Technology, HVAC/R Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field required.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of technical support, field service, industrial service, or related experience.
Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment in at least one of the following: Industrial combustion, commercial HVAC, commercial foodservice equipment or process heating required.
Experience in both combustion/industrial and commercial foodservice industries is strongly preferred.
Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings required.
Experience with industrial controls, PLCs, combustion systems, HVAC, food service equipment, or related technologies preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
