Why join an independent registered investment advisor firm?
The independent registered investment advisor industry is a rapidly growing segment of the financial services industry. Independent registered investment advisors are able to focus on individual client relationships without the burden of undue bureaucracy and red tape that is present in many non-independent firms. Registered investment advisors are free to structure their firms in ways that are uniquely tailored to providing the best service to their specific client base.
Why join Prairiewood Wealth Management?
Prairiewood Wealth Management is a registered investment advisor with a mission to help each of our clients keep more of what they make, make more with what they have, and create a legacy that will last beyond their lifetimes. By working at Prairiewood, you get the opportunity to make a difference in clients lives by supporting our high-quality service approach. Prairiewood was founded on six pillars.
· Fiduciary duty: Prairiewood is an independent registered investment advisor that is legally held to a fiduciary duty requiring us to put our clients’ interests first at all times.
· Fee-only: Prairiewood is a fee-only firm which means we avoid all conflicts of interest inherent in commission-based compensation.
· Independent: Prairiewood is fully independent which means we have flexibility to serve our clients in the way that is best for them.
· Highly qualified: Prairiewood has a highly qualified team of professionals. Our family CFOs must have either a CPA, CFP, or CFA designation which ensures we provide high quality service to our clients.
· Tax integrated planning: Prairiewood provides comprehensive wealth management services and integrates tax planning throughout the process since nearly all financial decisions have tax implications.
· Generational service: Prairiewood is committed to hiring and training the next generation of qualified advisors so that we can be the last wealth management firm our clients will ever need.
What are the benefits of working for Prairiewood Wealth Management?
Prairiewood provides an attractive work environment for our employees in the following ways:
· No products to sell: Prairiewood does not sell proprietary products. We are completely free to recommend what is best for our clients.
· Service Focused: Prairiewood advisors are paid for serving the firm’s clients rather than bringing in new clients. Our goal is for our advisors to spend most of their time serving our current and prospective clients well rather than focusing their time on bringing in new clients of their own.
· Team based: Prairiewood uses a team-based approach which ensures each employee has our experienced team of highly qualified professionals to support them as they serve clients.
· Strong relationships: Prairiewood serves as the family Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our clients which leads to deep and long-lasting relationships with clients.
