Legal Assistant

Location: Grand Junction, CO

Davis Law Group is seeking an organized, professional, and client-focused Legal Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a long-term career in the legal profession.

As a key member of our team, you'll support attorneys by coordinating client communication, scheduling appointments, managing client intake, maintaining organized files, and helping ensure our office runs efficiently. You'll play an important role in creating an exceptional client experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients by phone, email, and in person
Schedule consultations and manage attorney calendars
Coordinate client intake and maintain accurate client records
Prepare and organize files and documents
Support attorneys with administrative and workflow coordination
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Utilize technology and AI tools to improve communication and office efficiency
Help create a professional, responsive, and welcoming client experience

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Professional, dependable, and client-focused
Comfortable learning new technology and AI-assisted workflows

Preferred:

Experience in a legal office or other professional, administrative, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service environment
Strong administrative or client-facing experience

Compensation & Benefits

$17–$21 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
