Full Job Description

Hope Power & Industrial a heavy industrial manpower resource represents an industrial contractor with open position as mechanical piping and millwright supervisor. (NO PER DIEM, RELOCATION OR TRAVEL EXPENSE)

Need immediately Mechanical Process Millwright Supervisor must have 5 years minimum experience managing a crew of 3 to 10 employees. Blueprint Reading Skills, Hands on Millwright Experience, Field Fabrication/Welding Experience, Process Piping Experience a must! Experience with industrial duct work experience is a plus. Must be able to direct and supervise the installation, dismantling, relocation, piping and aligning of equipment and machinery in accordance with all plans, specifications, tolerances and industry standards. Perform machinery maintenance and troubleshoot as required on plant equipment to be installed. Estimate field labor, material take off, requisition materials and required construction equipment, direct subcontractors. Plan and coordinate the efforts of the field crew workers under his/her supervision and motivate them to accomplish the work safely, correctly and efficiently. General Knowledge, Skills & Ability

* Strong background and experience in process piping fabrication & installation.

Strong background and experience in millwright and rigging of heavy equipment.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.

Ability to multi-task and establish priorities

Through knowledge of all aspects of construction safety.

Initiative, responsibly, flexibility

Able to work at multiple levels

Proven Leader and Manage employees

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Be able to perform all the principal duties and accountabilities of craft workers & under his/her supervision

Lead and support all safety related processes and programs as requested.

Report all accidents and incidents to PM. Participate in investigation process as needed. Review accidents and the causes with employees.

Understand and respond appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices

Gain a complete understanding of the scope of work and the related parts of the project. Develop a thorough understanding of the project plans, specifications and schedule as they relate to that portion of the work assigned.

Conduct tool box meetings and communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules to the crews.

Assure employees produce quality work, meeting requirements of plans, specifications and industry standards.

Ensure that construction equipment is correctly operated, maintained, in good working order, and Daily Equipment Inspections are completed for equipment being used
